RTL makes new service available on Telenor’s online TV platform first

RTL Hungary announced the launch of the premium version of RTL Most as an addition to its content offered to distribution partners in May this year. The product featuring enhanced content and functionality named RTL Most+ aims to expand the offering of telco operators and cable providers in line with modern content consumption needs. In Hungary, the new platform will be first implemented by Telenor. 

“Digital is the future and based on RTL Most’s current success, we are positive that this enhanced and expanded version will create value for television subscribers now that multiscreen access is virtually a basic requirement”, said Judit Grósz, Digital Director of RTL Hungary.  RTL Most+ currently provides HD resolution, but later will support FullHD video,  and will have Chromecast support and exclusive content. It has less commercials than the existing RTL Most platform and makes series and films available for a longer period of time. In addition, viewers can also watch the linear live broadcast of RTL Hungary channels on the RTL Most+ platform.

Telenor MyTV users can expect to enjoy the benefits of the RTL Most+ service starting from Q4 2019. The precise launch date will be announced by the partners later.
