Even those without an active domestic data allowance won’t miss out: prepaid customers with a zero balance and subscribers who have already exhausted their data quota will also be able to connect to Yettel’s lightning-fast network without restrictions for the entire day.
Naturally, the unlimited data offer also applies to traffic on Yettel’s latest-generation 5G network. Yettel makes 5G available to all customers every day of the year, with no need for a premium tariff or add-on package. The technology is instantly accessible to anyone within 5G coverage who has a compatible handset and a SIM or eSIM.
Over the past few years, Yettel has invested nearly HUF 100 billion in modernising its network in Hungary, and development efforts continue. In the coming years, the company plans to invest tens of billions of HUF more to further expand its network and increase 5G coverage, which already exceeds 75% of the population outdoors nationwide.
On June 20, Yettel’s Unlimited Internet Day, customers can use mobile data freely throughout the day. While any speed limits associated with individual tariffs will continue to apply as usual, data usage itself will be free of charge for all customers on that day.
