Telenor offers more data in mobile internet plans for home use

In response to consumers’ rising demand for data in the mobile internet segment, Telenor renewed its residential mobile internet tariff plans intended for home use as of 28 February. The increased data allowances of Hipernet Home+ S, M and L tariff plans and the Hipernet 4G, 4G+ network support a carefree mobile internet experience at home enabling customers to use them as a replacement for fixed-line internet. Its key advantage is that customers can take their modem or router with them also if they need more mobile data only occasionally or a portable wifi-hotspot, during a long weekend or in their holiday home.

In addition to the domestic data allowances of 30GB, 60GB and 150GB per month, the tariff plans also provide an equal volume of night-time data (30GB, 60GB and 150GB, respectively) as part of a promotional offer. These data allowances can be used between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., that is, domestic mobile internet users will first consume these night-time allowances when using the internet in the above time slot. Hipernet Home+ tariff plans also include a roaming limit available in EU countries.

If a customer needs more data, they can buy additional one-time or recurring data tickets of 10GB, 30GB or 100GB.

Telenor also offers mobile internet devices to customers buying larger data plans. Those signing a 2-year contract for their Hipernet Home+ tariff can get a 4G modem or a 4G router free of charge. Those signing a 2-year contract for their Hipernet Home+ S can buy an Alcatel 1T 7” tab ideal for family use and a Huawei E 5785h router at a price of only HUF 4,990 in Telenor shops. Starting from mid-March, Huawei T5 10” tab will also be available in a bundle with the new Hipernet Home+ tariff plans.
