Yettel’s data also clearly confirm this openness to mobility: 60% of new OtthonNet subscribers chose the service specifically because it can go wherever they go. In 58% of cases, the decision is linked to the possibility of moving. This desire for flexibility is also clearly reflected in seasonal changes in usage patterns. The demand for portability peaks during holiday long weekends, when 25% more routers on average are taken away from their usual home location. The real peak, however, is the summer season: during this period, nearly half of users choose to take their digital comfort with them – to the lakeside, the holiday home, or out into nature.
Yettel will automatically activate the “OtthonNet Anywhere Mode (10 days)” service free of charge for OtthonNet and OtthonNet Basic subscribers on 1 April 2026. So, users can enjoy their holiday break without giving up their usual high-speed internet connection. The OtthonNet Anywhere feature already offers built-in flexibility, allowing customers to use their service outside their registered home address for 10 days in every 30-day cycle at no extra cost. But this Easter Yettel is offering even more freedom: as part of the promotion, eligible subscribers will receive an additional 10 days on top of the standard allowance, completely free of charge.
Period: Between 1 and 11 April 2026
Automatic activation: Eligible consumers don’t need to take any action. The service will be automatically activated for them free of charge for 10 days.
Technological conditions: The promotion is available to OtthonNet and OtthonNet Basic customers using an indoor unit. Due to technological limitations, the offer is not available for subscribers with an outdoor unit. Once the promotion ends, the service will be automatically deactivated, with no additional costs or administrative steps required from customers.
