What about your chances on a first date if you invite your crush to ride the Budapest chairlift together, but he/she has a fear of heights? Instead of providing frontal education and advice, ChatStory uses a made-up story and everyday examples to educate players on responsible Internet use. The love story includes several decision-making situations related to digital footprint, privacy and even partnership psychology in a playful manner.
At the end of the game, players can evaluate their ChatStory experience on a scale from 1 to 5. Based on the feedback received to date, users consider both the subject and implementation exciting with two out of three people giving the game a score of 4 or 5.
With this innovative online safety app Telenor wants to reach young people in their natural environment: the Messenger app.
