Hungary to host first independent FIRST LEGO League competition

LEGO robots conquer HiperSuli schools

Project-based problem solving, algorithmic thinking, teamwork, programming fundamentals: for the first time in 2021, Hungary will host the local rounds of the FIRST LEGO League competition, a joint initiative by FIRST, one of the world’s largest robotics communities, and leading global building toy manufacturer LEGO. The more than 90 teams registered for the competition will participate in five regional qualifiers in Győr, Debrecen, Zalaegerszeg, Budapest and Tatabánya. The three winning teams of the national finals to be held in Budapest will qualify for international rounds including the global finals in Detroit, US.

You can buy public transport tickets and passes using your mobile account balance with Telenor

Telenor customers will be the first in Hungary to enjoy the benefits of mobile account-based ticket and pass payment in Hungary

Starting from mid-February, Telenor customers can use their mobile account to buy tickets and passes from the public transport companies of major cities including Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen, Székesfehérvár and Sopron and also from long-distance coach company Volánbusz and railway company GYSEV.  Touchless payment especially important during the pandemic is not subject to a convenience fee and you don’t even need to give your bank card data to use it.
