Yettel’s Christmas campaign is centred around the message “The most precious gift is you”

Instead of traditional gift-buying, Yettel highlights the power of personal gestures in this year’s Christmas campaign. In collaboration with renowned illustrators, it presents a festive collection of 25 cards to inspire shared experiences and make the celebrations even more personal. The cards are available in Yettel shops nationwide and at the website legertekesebbajandek.yettel.hu.

A third of Hungarians stress over whether they are choosing the right gift for their loved ones, according to Yettel's nationwide research. This concern is not unfounded, as more than three out of four respondents have already received a gift that they were not happy with or were unable to use. The research shows that most people long for a functional or personalised gift, and many also want it to be a shared experience. Focusing on personal gestures, Yettel’s latest campaign can also address these needs.

This Christmas, the brand is reminding us that the greatest gift is time spent together. To support this, 25 different program cards have been created with renowned illustrators. Visitors can choose any of them and personalise it at the website legjobbajandek.yettel.hu.

Using the postcards, you can surprise the people who matter most to you anytime and anywhere. The cards present activities that don’t cost money and encourage people to spend time together, and do things such as “Getting lost in a foreign city”, “Show me your hobby” or “Dance until you’re dizzy”. Gift-givers can write a personalised message on the back of these cards and send them to their loved ones online as a picture or a video, or collect them in our shops in person.

“When a newly launched brand needs to gain visibility in a traditional holiday season such as Christmas, it has to be more than just another campaign. In the same way as this year is not just another year in our lives, because it’s much more challenging than we could have imagined at this time a year ago. So, we asked the following question: ‘How can we help people find balance this Christmas?’”, said Gergely Dolezsai, Yettel’s Brand and Marketing Communications Director, about the campaign.

In addition to offering the cards, the operator will give more of itself to Yettel Prime tariff customers as the plans with unlimited domestic data are providing more handset services, extra offers and care for the customers including holiday handset offers with an upfront payment of HUF 0 or a 10% annual discount on smart accessories. Also, discount data tickets come handy when preparing for or celebrating Christmas: until 31 December, Yettel’s prepaid and postpaid consumers can activate a 7-day unlimited domestic data card at a discount price of HUF 1,990.
