Telenor Hungary’s online questionnaire can be filled in by anyone wishing to evaluate their online threat awareness. The questions about real-life situations are related to data protection, cyberbullying and digital footprint. The questionnaire that takes just a few minutes to complete aims to help Telenor assess how responsibly its social media followers use the internet.
Committed to using technology to reduce social inequalities and promote the growth of digital education, Telenor considers children’s online safety education and awareness as key priorities. In 2017, it took its online safety education program to more than 4,000 students. Its volunteers held 150 hours of training sessions for 1,600 students, partly under the Digital Week event series supported by Telenor through its digital education program Hipersuli.
The Momentán Ensemble, TanárBlog experts and volunteers held interactive improvisational theatre programs including playful exercises for secondary school students across the country 9 times last year. Participants included young people involved in Hipersuli, E-tanoda and Kórházsuli programs. Several Telenor employees took the initiative and held internet awareness sessions in their children’s schools using Hipersuli TudatosNet teaching resources. Last summer, children staying in Erzsébet camps had an opportunity to consult online safety experts delegated by Telenor’s Hipersuli partner MOBIDIK – Mobile Digital School.
