Download and upload speed guaranteed by the Operator with 2G, 3G, HSPA, HSPA+, HSPA+DC and 4G/LTE technologies: 0 Mbps. The availability of the offered bandwidth (theoretical maximum download and upload speed) depends on the availability of the network technology providing the service at the given location, the availability of devices (e.g. phone, suitable SIM card) supporting the technology and the network load at the given moment.

  • The 10 GB Mobilnet, 30 GB Mobilnet, 50 GB Mobilnet and Unlimited Mobilnet data cards provide a single extra data allowance, which can be used for 30 days from the date of ordering in the country. The full data allowance for 10 GB and 30 GB Mobilnet, 23.4 GB of the 50 GB Mobilnet data allowance and 33 GB of the Unlimited Mobilnet+ allowance can be used in the EU and in roaming zone 1 countries.
  • Renewable monthly data plans are data allowance services that provide domestic data on top of the data allowance included in your tariff plan.
  • The extra data ordered can be used up to the end of your billing period domestically, and up to the full data allowance for 10 GB and 30 GB of Renewable Mobilnet, 23.4 GB of the 50 GB Renewable Mobilnet data allowance, and 33 GB of the Unlimited Renewable Mobilnet+ allowance in the EU and in roaming tariff zone 1 countries. It cannot be carried over to the next tariff period.
  • As of 15 June 2017, you will normally be able to roam at the same rates as nationally when travelling within the EU and other countries in tariff zone 1.
  • Data volume
    • If your tariff includes built-in data allowance, you can use the additional data allowance(s) at the bandwidth offered under your tariff plan. When you use the additional data allowance(s), you will not be charged a domestic traffic fee, but we will slow down the offered bandwidth to the speed of your tariff plan.
    • If your tariff does not include built-in data, you can use the additional data allowance(s) at the following offered bandwidths: 7 Mbps download speed, 2 Mbps upload speed. Once the included frame(s) have been used up, mobile internet will not be available (0/0 kbps download and upload speed).
    • The additional data traffic will be added to the data traffic limit of the billing period in which the order was placed and can be used until the end of the billing period and cannot be carried over to the next billing cycle.
    • If you have a single data ticket, the data frame of the single data ticket will always be reduced first. Then the amount built into the monthly data package is reduced, and finally the data frame included in the tariff 
    • The reduction of the traffic frame is done in units of 0,01 MB.
    • You will be notified by SMS when you have used 80% of your limit or when you have reached 100%.
  • Order, activate:
    • The monthly fee for services is charged on a pro rata basis.
    • You can only use one data plan at a time. If you switch packages, your existing package will be cancelled.
    • We activate your data plan within 72 hours of your order. We will send you an activation SMS.
    • One-off Mobile Nets and Renewal Mobile Nets cannot be ordered with Yettel Prime Max tariff packages.

Data: every time you use your phone to access the internet, you use data. You browse, visit a social networking site, watch a video, download a picture. You can buy data in packets of a certain amount. The more you go online, the more data you need.

Data consumption: Note that the apps on your device may be trading data in the background, without warning or warning: downloading your new messages, updating weather data or checking if there is a newer version they are offering you to download. These synchronisations, which take place in the background, are just as much data usage as when you browse, watch videos or listen to music yourself. You can set preferences to limit the data usage of your apps, e.g. only update when using WIFI.

MB/GB: The unit of measurement for data. MB: megabytes, GB: gigabytes. 1 GB = 1024 MB.

Mobilnet allowance / data frame: The predefined amount of data that can be used for internet surfing, up to its validity period. A mobilenet allowance may be included in your tariff plan, or you can buy an additional data plan or an extra data plan to add to your existing allowance.

Track your data usage: You can top it up in time by buying a new data plan so you can continue watching videos, browsing and sharing your online experiences. You can find up-to-date information on how your mobile net allowance is going on the free Yettel app. Most smartphones can be set to alert you when you've reached a certain amount of data.

Data frame usage: When you've used all the data you've used up, you've exhausted all the data you have. Either your speed will be slowed down, or it will be stopped completely, depending on the data plan you have. If you keep surfing after the slowdown, you won't have to pay extra for this. You'll be notified by SMS when you've used 80% of your limit or when you've reached 100%.

Use your data allowance in the EU and other countries in tariff zone 1: 
EU data frames are not an additional data frame on top of existing domestic frames, but a part (or all) of the domestic frame can be used over a larger geographical area by being valid not only domestically but also in roaming tariff zone 1.

An SMS notification will be sent when the EU data limit is reached. Thereafter, if still available, the remaining domestic data allowance will be used at an additional charge of 1.1 HUF/MB. Once the domestic frame is exhausted, the data connection will be terminated. This can be resolved by ordering an additional data service similar to the domestic service. In this case, the EU quota included in the service will be used and no additional charge will be levied.

Top-up data: if you have run out of your mobile network but want to continue surfing at your usual speed, you should order the one-off top-up data. Such a data card is valid for 1 or 7 full days from the date of ordering with a prepaid plan and for 30 days with a billed plan, and a one-off charge is deducted per order.

Monthly fee / extra data plan: If you want to use the internet regularly with a larger mobile network allowance, rather than occasionally, choose one of our monthly data plans. You only need to order this package once, and then you will have access to the increased data allowance every month. The monthly data plan price will appear on your bill each month, and if you have a prepaid plan, the monthly service fee will be deducted from your balance.

Validity of data cards and data plans:

  • For billed subscribers: 30 days from the date of ordering for one-off data cards, and always the end of the billing period for renewable data plans. You can find your billing period on your invoice, but you can also check it in your Yettel account or on the Yettel app, by calling 1220 or in stores.
  • For prepaid subscribers: 1 full day from the date of ordering for one-off daily net packages, 7 full days from the date of ordering for weekly net packages and 30 full days for renewable data packages. You can find out about your card cycle on 1220 or in stores.

Speed: The speed of the service you are using means how fast you can receive and send data while surfing the internet. The higher the speed, the smoother and faster your pages and videos load and you can use the internet.

Speed limit: If you've used up all the data you have available in a given period, we'll limit your speed, but the good news is that all you have to do is order an additional data plan or a mobile net package above and you can keep surfing.

WiFi and mobilnet. If you are connected to a WiFi network, you do not use up your mobile network allowance while surfing the internet.
