From 1st August 2018 Jan Hanuš took over the Telenor Hungary CEO position from Alexandra Reich who has been appointed as CEO of dtac, Telenor’s business unit in Thailand.
Jan Hanuš graduated at the University of Hradec Králové with marketing, economy and IT degrees. From 2017 he led the commercial area and HR at the Telco division of PPF Group. Hanuš had been working in the FMCG-sector for more than 10 years as the founder of a vegetarian fast food restaurant, Vegg-go, Emco food company and Kostelecke uzeniny, which is a big meat processing company in Czech Republic. He has Hungarian experiences as well: he was the CEO and Vice Chairman of Ceres Sütő Ltd., Győr in 2011-2012. He was the CEO of the Czech subsidiary of Yoplait, a French company producing dairy products between 2009-2011, and he worked as the Sales Director of Vitana food-manufacturing company between 2006-2009.

Martin Oravec joined Telenor Hungary as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Martin started his career in Ernst&Young and Deloitte in transaction and M&A advisory. In 2009, he joined O2 Czech Republic (formerly Telefónica Czech Republic), a publicly listed company, as a Head of Corporate Finance. Since then he has gained a broad range of experience in finance, telecommunications and leadership through various positions in O2. In the last couple of years he was responsible for finance and investment projects in BOLT, a startup fund in O2, that invested into startup projects and businesses. Last year he was appointed as Finance Director for Tesco Mobile ČR, a JV company of O2 and Tesco.
Mohamed ElSayad is the new Chief Marketing Officer’s (CMO) at Telenor Hungary. Mohamed comes from Egypt and he has more than 20 years of international experience in digital marketing, brand and product implementation and product development in the field of multinational companies and start-ups as well. Between 2004-2010 he was the CEO of MSN Arabia, between 2011-2015 the CEO and Vice President of “du”. In 2016 he founded Dubai Angel Investors. Mohamed ElSayad comes from Magyar Telekom where he had been working as Marketing Director between 2015-2018.
Győző Drozdy is appointed as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Telenor Hungary. Győző was the first Hungarian employee to join Telenor (then Pannon GSM) in 1993. Since then, he has filled several responsible positions at the company greatly contributing to its achievements over the past twenty years. As Deputy Technical Director, he participated in setting up the company and its technical function, and later he was the Chief Officer winning the 3G license. Since 2011, he has been supporting Telenor as Strategic Advisor to the CEO. Győző has earned several recognitions including the Gábor Dénes Prize for the construction of the Hungarian mobile network.
