The tariff packages Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz and Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start will be discontinued. Therefore, if you activate such a card after 26 February 2024, you may continue to use your phone number according to the conditions of our new prepaid tariff package 30 days after activation, by unilateral amendment. Your call number as well as your existing balance and its validity date will not change.

30 days after activating your Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz or Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start package, you may enjoy the benefits of the Yettel Feltöltőkártya Expressz tariff package. In both cases, the SMS and minute fee will be HUF 30/minute or SMS at any time period, to any network. The tariff package does not include mobile internet service, but the 2in1 Start recurring package will remain active as long as the usage conditions of the service are met.

Why is Yettel discontinuing tariff packages Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz and Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start?

Responding to market demands, we are simplifying and streamlining our tariff and service portfolio.  At Yettel, our goal is to always offer services that meet the current needs of our customers. This is why we renew our tariff options from time to time, to ensure a streamlined portfolio.  
Based on user habits, we see that a significant proportion of prepaid phone users are already using smartphones and increasingly use mobile internet. We have reformed our prepaid service portfolio and data ticket offerings in accordance with this trend and considering user behaviour.
With the packages linked to the Yettel Feltöltőkártya Expressz tariff, we would like to provide a solution for those who, as prepaid customers without a loyalty agreement, need to be able to use voice and data services flexibly, according to their current needs, at a reasonable price.

All customers activating Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz or Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start tariff packages as of 26 February 2024.

Concerning all Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz (Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start) tariff package activations, as of 26 February 2024, the subscriber contract will be changed to the Yettel Feltöltőkártya Expressz tariff package 30 days after activation, and from that point on will be available at a HUF 30 minute fee.
No action is required from our customers in connection with the change of tariff - their call number as well as their existing balance and its validity date will remain unchanged, and no downtime will be expected in the service.  

Beyond the usual services, we will implement new 5-day packages, which will not only contain mobile internet, but also extra airtime credit minutes. Our supplementary services will be available to you with a 20% discount through the Yettel app.

o    If any customer decides that the Yettel Feltöltőkártya Expressz (2in1 Start) tariff does not suit them, they can choose from our postpaid tariffs. Detailed information on postpaid tariffs is available in stores, at yettel.hu or through our customer service channels.
o    If any potential customer decides that they would rather not become a customer with the provided conditions, they can ask for a refund of their not-yet-activated SIM card in any Yettel store. If you have purchased your SIM card in a handset-inclusive package, you may also request a refund for the handset at the same time.
o    On account of the switch between tariff packages, the subscriber contract may be terminated with immediate effect within 45 days of activation.

Services that are available through the Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz (2in1 Start) tariff will automatically be transferred, but those that are not available through this tariff will automatically be cancelled; affected subscribers will be provided tailored information in advance. In this case, we recommend that, after the automatic tariff change occurring with the top-up, they check the availability of the supplementary services and, if necessary, opt for a new one, to avoid any inconvenience. If the card has not expired yet (the specific details can be found on the package), it can be activated with the conditions described on the package, and 30 days after activation, it can be used with the Yettel Feltöltőkártya Expressz tariff.

Affected customers will be notified once during the activation process with the method specified in their subscriber contract, then once again when the tariff package switch occurs, in an SMS detailing the applied changes.

  • You may use cards activated after 26 February 2024 with the new Yettel Feltöltőkártya Expressz tariff 30 days after activation, with a HUF 30 minute and SMS fee within all Hungarian standard-rate networks. The 2in1 Start recurring service (1.5 GB and 15 minutes) activated for the card will remain active while the usage requirements of the service are met.
  • The service is available against payment of a periodic fee and is activated after the deduction of its fee.
  • In the case of handset-inclusive packages purchased from our partners, the Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start package (containing 15 voice-call minutes and 1.5 GB domestic data for 30 days after activation) is free of charge, but the 2in1 Start recurring package activated for the card has a fee of HUF 1,490/30 days after the first 30 days.
  • The service can be used for 30 days from activation. Unused minute and data quotas may not be carried over to the next service cycle.
  • We will attempt to deduct the periodic fee on the day following the expiry of the 30-day period. If sufficient balance is not available on your prepaid account, the conditions for the basic tariff package will apply and the call and data amounts included in the package will not be made available, with the 2in1 package being suspended until a top-up. If your balance is insufficient for deducting the periodic fee for 3 consecutive months, the package will be cancelled from the 4th month and will not be available for re-activation later on, as we will no longer be offering the package.
  • You can use another supplementary package with your 2in1 Start recurring package. The new package will be activated immediately, and your old package will remain with its own quota and expiry date.
  • If you cancel one of the packages and activate another, switching between packages is instantaneous. In this case, the periodic fee will be deducted in its entirety, the 30-day period will restart and Unused minute and data quotas will be added up and available until the end of the next service cycle.
  • You can cancel the 2in1 Start recurring package through an SMS to the number 1744 with the following code: X2IN1START
  • The package will not be available for re-order later on, as we will no longer be offering it.
  • If you cancel a 2in1 recurring package within 30 days, the unused minute and data quotas will also be removed and the periodic fee that has already been deducted will not be refunded.
  • If the Yettel Feltöltőkártyás Expressz 2in1 Start package was not purchased as part of a handset-inclusive package, the 2in1 Start recurring package activated for it has a fee of HUF 1,490/30 days after the first 30 days.
  • The 2in1 Start recurring package minute and data quotas apply within Hungary and countries in roaming tariff zone 1.
  • If the domestic data traffic included in the package is used up and you do not have a Mobile Internet service package, the domestic and general data traffic will not be available until the end of the prepaid service cycle (capped at 0/0 kbps).
  • In addition to the periodic fee, no over-the-limit fee will be charged for domestic traffic.
  • The data amount included in the data packages will be available at the transfer speeds set in your tariff package. Ordering the service will not affect the theoretical maximum download and upload speeds set in the tariff package; the rates specified in the tariff package will remain unchanged.
  • The data amount available domestically included in the service is used by all types of data traffic.
  • Traffic quota is reduced by 0.01 MB increments.
  • If you have a one-off data ticket, the data quota of this ticket is always expended first. After that, we will deduct from the recurring quota, then from the data quota included in the tariff package and finally from the amount included in the data package.
  • If you do not use up the data amount included in the service during the current service cycle, the discount may not be carried over to the next 30-day period.
